The Change Makers Club – 25/03/2014

  • Location:Central London
  • Venue:The Groucho Club
  • Length:06:00 pm – 09:00 pm

An exclusive event for forward looking business leaders

The Change Makers Club is an exclusive, invitation-only club for business leaders within the UK’s largest organisations. The group meet regularly across the capital’s top dining rooms for dinner, discussion and networking.  This function will be held at the fashionable Groucho Club, Soho on the 25th March. It’s a fantastic opportunity to meet other senior figures, discuss driving change and have an enjoyable evening.

As a guest at the function you will be one of 35 senior people. This exclusive group of business leaders represent some of the largest and most dynamic companies in the UK. Like you, they are also looking for ways to tackle business issues and help drive efficiency in business processes.

The evening will commence at 6:00pm with networking drinks in the Snooker Room of The Groucho Club. Drinks will be inter dispersed with short talks on driving change within core business processes. We will hear from leading figures on the problems they faced technically, politically and logistically trying to implement change and how they overcame these hurdles.

Matt Calkins, CEO at Appian, will be discussing work social and it’s implication on unstructured business processes. Particularly he will  focus on modern business applications and their use in large organisations today.

Social technology has revolutionised how we communicate outside of work. In the next few years it will revolutionise how we communicate inside work to. McKinsey estimate it’s worth 25% greater productivity in sectors such as Finance & Insurance. But there’s a catch. In the words of Maureen Fleming, Program VP at IDC “…to deliver real enterprise value, social collaboration must be rooted in business processes, systems, and data. Without a firm work context, enterprise social can merely be ‘social for social’s sake’…”

Who will be attending

As a guest at the function you will join 35 other business leaders from some of the UK’s biggest organisations. Previously The Change Makers Club has been exclusive to the finance and insurance sectors, however we are now open to attendees from a broad range of sectors and industries.
