This quarter we are focusing on driving change at the point of interaction with Customers within the Insurance and Financial Services. Dealing with customers can pose a unique set of challenges, each requiring a specific response to their problems and requests.  This can make it difficult to deploy a structured approach to core business processes such as client on-boarding, claims management and loan origination. The discussion will explore how a more structured approach can be adopted, communication streamlined, and change managed.

Structured Approach – Many core business processes in modern finance and insurance have unpredictable stages and involve a large number of different parties. The chance of miscommunication, confusion or other errors is high. We will explore how companies are creating internal transparency and visibility within these processes, reducing errors and driving efficiency.

Communication –We will be discussing how business process management platforms can be used to streamline internal communication to drive operational efficiency. It has even been predicted that these technologies will overtake email as the primary means of internal business communication by 2017.

Change Management – Strong cultures and traditional practices pervade the finance and insurance sector. Introducing new technology and change to an organisation can be difficult even with the support of senior management.  We will be exploring the hurdles; problems and issues faced my change makers today and how the rapid introduction of new, more effective workflows can overcome these barriers.

We will be joined by the CEO of Appian, Matt Calkins, who is an expert on the subject and a veteran of many rapid change programmes at companies such as Amazon, Enterprise Rent-a-Car, Nokia, UPS and others.

You will be joined at the table by 15 other senior decision makers. It will be a superb opportunity to network with senior peers as you enjoy a lavish five star, three course meal.
